Duke is (lightly) underrated?

Despite this problem for coach K, the Blue Devils seem the Blue Bloods nobody is talking about…. My preferred blog list them N.16 in their Preseason top 25 , with good arguments. But I’m a big believer of coach K and I think that his team has a much higher potential, also without Andre Dawkins. First of all, the defense put on display last season at Duke is the exception, not the rule, especially considering the presence of Rivers, that basically was resting waiting for the next attack. This season the defense of the Blue Devils certainly will improve with the additions of Rasheed Sulaimon on the perimeter and Amile Jefferson and Marshall Plumlee under the boards, with the versatility of Alex Murphy as a bonus against many mismatches. Quinn Cook should  unleash his warrior attitude with added minutes, Seth Curry is…. Seth Curry, a reliable offensive option, which will allow Sulaimon to focus efforts on the  most dangerous opponent’s wing. Down low there are many option, with Kelly as stretch four, Jefferson’s skill as post and mid post scorer, Hairston to provide raw athleticism with the Plumlees….with Mason trying to improve his draft status. Redshirt freshman Alex Murphy will be the biggest x factor for coach K; is ready to play as a former top 15 prospect on both ends? Duke need him mainly as small forward, where he should be a tough cover for everyone on NCAA level.   Ok, this year there are many strong teams that command attention, but this roster seem better suited to play for coach K as opposed to last year bunch, so my message is “Never sleep on the Blue Devils and on his Hall of Famer coach”  because Duke has so many pieces that if Krzyzewski could find a way to put them together……
